El Segundo Museum of Art (ESMoA) received a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services to build an online training platform called ESMoA Academy.
The pilot course, titled “Spreading the Spark of Creativity,” is designed to train other museums to implement effective internship programs for special needs individuals.
I worked closely with the project managers to design and develop a learning experience that prioritizes user engagement and allows users to work through the course videos and documents while tracking their progress. The site also includes message boards, a resource library, and user profiles.
We designed a flexible platform that will allow them to expand the Academy as they develop new course content on other topics related to art, expression, and education.
