I collaborated with Social Impact Studios to build an interactive, data-rich online platform to support New Jersey residents to advocate for better arts programming in public schools.
We built a site designed to engage users and lead them to action. On the home page, a user can quickly find which art programs their school offers, and then are invited to take action by browsing a filterable toolkit. The user can then save any tools they like to their personal “toolkit.” They can also record and publish video logs of their progress.
Social Impact Studios worked closely with the New Jersy Arts Education Partnership to craft the vision for the project, and I helped guide it towards a user-friendly, functional site within the client’s budget.
In phase two, we plan to roll out a social component, where users can connect with other activists in their area to further support grassroots organizing for arts in New Jersey.
