International Childbirth Education Association (ICEA) educates, certifies, and creates a community of doulas and childbirth educators working to increase global access to safe, culturally respectful family-centered perinatal care. They work around the clock to ensure equitable, safe care in those first moments of life.
The Doula & Childbirth Educator Directory
We created a website that better organizes their mission, starting with their provider directory: Find a Doula.
This map and filterable directory makes it easier for a mother to find a doula not only in their area, but one with experience that will make them feel comfortable. It also helps elevate their members and helps them connect with new clients.
Certification Portal
ICEA offers four different certifications (Childbirth Educator, Birth Doula, Post Partum Doula, and ICEA Trainer), each with multiple pathways to achieve certification. The old site included literally dozens of pages to convey all the information. We worked closely with the board to restructure this section from the ground up to provide the key information in an approachable and user-friendly way.
